Report an Error
This site publishes measured and dated claims; it does not ask to be taken on trust. An error found by a reader does not contradict that approach, it extends it: the division receives it as a contribution to verification, not as an inconvenience.
What is useful to include
A report is easier to act on when it is precise. It helps to state the address of the page concerned, the exact passage in question, and the number, figure, or table at issue where the report concerns a measurement. It helps just as much to say what looks wrong and why – a source that states something else, a value that does not match, a caption that misdescribes what a figure shows. When a report concerns a demonstration output, naming the language involved makes the document easy to find.
Outputs published without retouching
The demonstration outputs on this site are published exactly as the system produces them, rough editorial edges included: the division does not polish what it puts online after the fact. A rough edge of style is not, on its own, a factual error; it can still be reported on the same terms, if it hinders reading or invites confusion.
